Specifically developed by commercial flooring specialist Polyflor Ltd to provide the aesthetics, performance and underfoot safety demanded by designers, builders and operators of buses, coaches, emergency, specialist and mobility vehicles, the Voyager safety floor range is available in four distinct product groups – WS, Standard Finish Plus, Standard Finish and Embossed.

Brecon Coachworks – who currently has local authority orders for over 100 vehicles fitted with Voyager flooring – selected a variety of colourways from the Voyager Standard Finish Plus range for the rear passenger areas of the VW Crafter Minibus conversions produced for the West Midlands project.

The flooring was supplied in pre-cut kit form to facilitate easy installation and to minimise waste. Also featured is an inlaid Brecon Coachworks logo, created by Polyflor Voyager via their computerised water jet cutting system. This service allows intricate reproductions of public information signs and symbols, corporate logos and other inlaid decoration to be created.

Voyager Standard Finish Plus offers a choice of five balanced multi-chip shades and, in common with all Voyager safety range groups, provides sustainable slip resistance of 36 on the RRL Pendulum wet test (Four-S/Slider 96 rubber) with a surface roughness of Rz 20µm, in line with HSE guidelines, whilst also providing high flexibility for ease of installation.
