Case Study: 20-21 Visual Arts Centre
High design Expona luxury vinyl tiles were recently installed at 20-21 Visual Arts Centre in Scunthorpe to give the café area a modern new look as part of their renovation project.
Situated in a grade II* listed former church, 20-21 Visual Arts Centre is a leading visitor attraction in Scunthorpe town centre run by North Lincolnshire Council which features five gallery spaces showing a range of contemporary art, design and crafts, as well as hosting workshops for adults and children. Polyflor’s Expona Design PUR luxury vinyl tiles in the abstract Light Contour design were installed by Direct Carpets flooring contractors of Scunthorpe in the centre’s popular café.
Durable Expona Design luxury vinyl tiles are further enhanced with PUR, Polyflor’s exclusive and robust polyurethane reinforcement which is cross linked and UV cured to provide a fuss-free cleaning and maintenance regime, making this product ideal for a café environment.
Lynne Emeny, Visual Arts Officer at 20-21 Visual Arts Centre comments, “We wanted a modern and contemporary floor design for our refurbished café area that would fit in with the aesthetic style of our arts centre, but would also be a hard wearing and easy to clean floorcovering that would look good for years to come. We’re delighted with the finished look of our new space."
