Vinyl flooring from new high design and high performance Expona Flow range was recently installed in the refurbished visitor centre at RSPB Bempton Cliffs nature reserve near Bridlington, East Yorkshire.
Designed by East Yorkshire based Salt Architects, the new RSPB Bempton Cliffs visitor centre opened in April 2015 and is expecting a busy summer of visitors coming to see the 200,000 seabirds who nest in the towering chalk cliffs every year. Around 240m˛ of Expona Flow heavy commercial sheet vinyl flooring in Honey Beige was installed throughout the visitor centre’s exhibition area and gift shop by Paul Hood & Son flooring contractors of Hull.

Keith Clarkson, Site Manager at RSPB Bempton Cliffs nature reserve commented, “As this is one of the best locations in the UK to watch seabirds we’ve had over 40,000 visitors since we reopened the centre in April. We needed a floor that was hardwearing and easy to clean yet beautiful to look at. The finished floor is just what we wanted and we’ve had fantastic comments from the public about the refurbishment.”
