Affinity255 LVT helps refurbish dining room at Tegfan care home
Affinity255 PUR wood effect luxury vinyl tiles from Polyflor, the UK's commercial and residential vinyl flooring specialist, were recently installed at Tegfan Resource Centre, a care home facility in Aberdare, Wales.
Heavy commercial Affinity255 PUR luxury vinyl tiles were fitted in the dining area of Tegfan Resource Centre, which is a 49 bed aged care residential home operated by Rhondda Cynon Taf County Borough Council. Installed by Treorchy based flooring contractors Carpets ‘N’ Carpets Ltd, the Dappled Oak design from the Affinity255 PUR collection includes tan and honey tones in a smooth oak plank pattern.
The flooring chosen for care home interiors can play a significant role in creating a safe, comfortable and dementia-friendly environment with a harmonious feel that residents can feel at home in.
Featuring 16 authentically reproduced wood plank designs in a wide plank format, the 2mm gauge Affinity255 PUR luxury vinyl tile collection has been developed for use in heavy traffic commercial environments where there are high levels of footfall. This durable LVT product also features a cross linked and UV cured polyurethane reinforcement (PUR) which protects the floor and supports a simple cleaning regime for hygiene critical areas.
Polyflor’s Affinity255 PUR luxury vinyl tile flooring contains approximately 40% recycled material and is 100% recyclable via the Recofloor scheme, thereby ensuring the product meets key environmental and sustainability credentials.
